Portlligat Museum-House

Within a 1 hour drive from Castell d’Empordà, the Portlligat Museum House, was Dali’s most permanent residence. The unique location, where most of Dali’s artwork was created, has been preserved as a museum and adventurous labyrinth filled with memories and objects of the painter. It is one of the highlights of the Dali Triangle and therefore this museum is not to be missed!

Dalí Theatre-Museum

The Dali Theatre-Museum was a municipal theatre that was destroyed after the Spanish Civil War, but luckily Dali decided to transform it into his principal museum. Located at 40 minutes from Castell d’Empordà, the unique architecture and style of this art centre will amaze you as you visit one of the most treasured places of the artist. In fact, it is at this location that the painter was buried and remains within a crypt.

Gala Dalí Castle of Púbol

Within just a 15-minute drive from Castell d’Empordà you will find the Gala Dali Castle bought by Dali for his muse Gala. A place that shows the true love and artistic dedication that Dali felt for his muse.
