ROMAIN VALICON:

A new culinary flair at Castell d’Empordà

Our chef Romain Valicon is a disciple of the legendary kitchens of Lyon, where he was trained by Paul Bocuse, Christian Têtedoie and Gilles Maysonnave.

He continued his professional career in the Caribbean as the chef of SLH Tortuga Bay in Punta Cana, that is co-owned by Julio Iglesias. There he cooked for the celebrities of the world, among whom Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, Will Smith, Richard Gere, Shakira and Anna Wintour. After several years he decided to return to Europe, where he elected Castell d’Empordà as the place to continue his culinary experience.

Assisted by his team and second chef David Gil Álvarez, Romain Valicon will make you discover his delicate cuisine on this unique spot.
