A new culinary flair at the Castell d’Empordà

GSR Producciones Gastronomicas, run by Roser Torras, one of the most prestigious enterprises in Spain, that has worked with El Bulli, el Celler de Can Roca, and the famous chef Paco Pérez, amongst others, has found a new and absolutely fabulous chef for Castell d’Empordà.

In recent years, Mariano Citterio worked as chef at Gild International and at Fernández, both in Barcelona. He descends from a family with generations of chefs. He is American but with European roots, and has been inspired by world-renowned chefs such as Ducasse, Robuchon and Aduriz. Personally, he admits to being especially influenced by the French chef Michel Bras.
